Anthony Garcia (from Streeterville Realty) is AMAZING! When I started my apartment hunt in Chicago I was beyond overwhelmed; there were way too many options on the market and it was hard gauge what would be a good fit. I went for a 3 day visit to Chicago to view apartments. On the first day, my friends that live there and I arranged a few showings; this was a disaster and very discouraging. The brokers and realtors I encountered on this first day were pushy and/or showing things that were a complete mismatch (I even had a leasing agent at an expensive apartment complex badger me with texts when I said I wasn't interested in the apartment). This first day experience was so discouraging (and I learned the lesson that you need to be careful with brokers/realtors/leasing agents). Then, during the 2nd and 3rd day, Anthony showed me several places. Prior to this, Anthony had called me to get a sense of what I was looking for; I felt like I didn't tell him much (partly because I was pretty inconsistent and unsure of what I wanted) but he was able to read between the lines and work really well with the limited information I provided. "Immense relief" doesn't even begin to describe what I felt after Anthony took me around. Almost every single place he showed me matched what I needed (and several places included things I didn't even realize I wanted). I had a notebook and printout full of questions I organized for each place I visited, but Anthony also made sure to ask several additional questions that I might have missed. Anthony was also good about taking notes and not displaying any strong opinions about any of the places at the beginning of the search; he simply inquired about my thoughts after each showing and took note. It wasn't until the end where we openly discussed the pros/cons of my top choices. One thing I really appreciated was that I did not feel like Anthony pushed a more expensive place on me (which I noticed other brokers do). After talking to Anthony, I narrowed down my choices to 3 apartments and on my own I picked my final choice. I'm really happy with my choice and relieved that I was able to find something in my budget that goes above and beyond my needs!

Very thankful for the help of Anthony Garcia! My boyfriend and I were in a time-crunch looking for a new apartment, and I will admit we were somewhat picky with our preferences! Anthony quickly set up viewings, all of which we felt were more than reasonable options, and when we did find our ideal unit, he was immensely helpful in getting everything executed. I also want to mention that during our decision making process, he is not pushy and even told us that studio is easier to rent out than 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. Even though the price of studio is lower than 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom which will make his commission lower, he still gives us the advice. This shows that he is sincere and honest.
